Hungarian Economic Gateway

A bridge across the Hungarian economy

We create opportunities to connect where they are missing today.

The Economic Gateway is an independent professional platform. It connects the expertise of businesses and professional organisations with the real needs of policy preparation — openly, under binding rules and removed from party politics.

The Economic Gateway was established by Attila Szabó’s Secretariat of the Honorary President. However, an independent professional board decides on individual issues, and our supporters and operating rules are public. Who is behind us

Why we exist

Too many good ideas stall because their originators do not know whom to approach, and too many decisions are made without practical experience. We help the right proposal reach the right table — government and opposition alike, without intermediary fees or shortcuts.

INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVE

’56 Bridge

Hungarian heritage. International connections.

The knowledge, experience and connections of the Hungarian diaspora of 1956 and subsequent generations can open new opportunities for Hungarian businesses, researchers and young people today. The ’56 Bridge initiative seeks to turn this legacy into active professional cooperation.

How we work

  1. 01

    Get in touch

    One form, for any issue.

  2. 02

    Acceptance within 3 working days

According to public criteria approved by the professional board.

  3. 03

    Response within 10 working days

With a proposed next step or an explanation.

  4. 04

    Public reporting

Every quarter, we publish how many issues we received, their outcomes and whom we consulted.

Why you can trust us

  • An independent professional board decides on issues, not the founder.
  • We do not accept funding from political parties or party foundations; we publish every supporter’s name.
  • We submit our proposals to both government and opposition decision-makers.
  • We do not accept success fees or commissions, and membership does not confer priority.

Do you have an issue that deserves attention?

Describe it in a few sentences. If it fits our objectives, we will help it reach those who can address it meaningfully — if not, we will also explain why.
